In order to register as a user with Playground Raters, you will be asked to sign in using your Facebook login. If you do so, you authorize us to access certain Facebook account information, such as your public Facebook profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook), your email address, gender, birthday, education history, current city, photos, personal description, friend list, and information about and photos of your Facebook friends who might be common Facebook friends with other Playground Raters users. You will also be asked to allow Playground Raters to collect your location information from your device when you download or use the Service. In addition, we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our Service or in some other manner. This may include identifying information, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information. You may also provide us photos, a personal description and information about your gender and preferences for recommendations, such as search distance and gender. If you chat with other Playground Raters users, you provide us the content of your chats, and if you contact us with a customer service or other inquiry, you provide us with the content of that communication.

Your information will be shared with other users on the platform. When you register as a user of Playground Raters , your profile will be viewable by other users of the Service. Other users (and in the case of any sharing features available on Playground Raters, the individuals or apps with whom a Playground Raters user may choose to share you with) will be able to view information you have provided to us directly or through Facebook, such as your Facebook photos, any additional photos you upload, your first name, your age, approximate number of miles away, your personal description, and information you have in common with the person viewing your profile, such as common Facebook friends and likes.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. Playground Raters processes personal data both as a Processor and a Controller as defined in the directive of GDPR. The playground Raters entity which you as a user entered an agreement with when using Playground Raters platform, will be the Controller for user data. For respondent data, the user will be the Controller in accordance with the GDPR directive and Playground Raters will be the Processor.
Playground Raters adheres to the directive of GDPR from May 2018. Playground Raters processes all data provided by its users with accounts in its European Data Region. All data collected by Playground Raters users through surveys is stored exclusively in secure hosting facilities provided by Amazon Web Services. Playground Raters has a data processing agreement in place with its provider ensuring compliance with the Directive. All hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations. All transfers of data internally is also done in accordance with the data processing agreement. We do not transfer users data externally
According to the GDPR directive, all users on the Playground Raters platform have rights to have control of their personal data. You can object to how your personal data is being used. As a user you have control of what and how you want your data to be processed. If you are not satisfied with the way we use, store or protect your data, you can request for change by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You have the right to request access to the information we have on you. You can do this by contacting us at email@example.com. We will make sure to provide you with a copy of the data we process about you. In order to comply with your request, we may ask you to verify your identity.
We will fulfill your request by sending your copy electronically, unless the request expressly specifies a different method. For any subsequent access request, we may charge you with an additional fee.
If you believe that the information we have about you is incorrect and you cannot change your details yourself in the settings of the playgroundraters platform, you are welcome to contact us so we can update it and keep your data accurate. Any data that is no longer needed will be deleted. If at for point you wish for Playground Raters to delete information about you, you can simply contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also choose to delete your account from the settings tab within the Playground Raters application.
If you are not happy with the rating reviews you are getting, you have the ability to hide all or specific reviews, as well as deactivate it completely.
We do not require you to provide us with all the personal data that is requested by the Playground Raters platform. However your email address is important to activate your account. This is to verify your account, to keep it safe, making sure that you are the right user.
If you choose to signup on the Playground Raters platform, then your full name, email, main sport and your password are all required. This data will be used to personalise your usage within the platform to give you a good experience.
If you choose to login to the Playground Raters platform with facebook, then you are not required to create a password nor enter your main sport. Your full name and email as well as your profile picture will be automatically collected from facebook upon your consent.
We only retain the Personal data collected from a user for as long as the user's account is active or otherwise for a limited period of time as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes for which we have initially collected it, unless otherwise required by law. We will retain and use information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve conflicts and enforce our agreements as follows.
We ensure personal data is securely disposed of when no longer needed, however we do not intend to delete a user's data if inactive for a period of time unless requested to do so.
Personal information you provide to us is stored on a password protected server accessible only by administrator. We use SSL and malware scans. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Service because any transmission of information over the Internet has its inherent risks. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Service. If at anytime we suspect a breach in our systems that could lead to stolen personal data, we will inform our users within 48 hours of detecting the breach and we will do everything possible to limit the breach.
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
Children under the age of 13 should not use our services without the consent of their parents/guardians and must not attempt to register or subscribe with our services and/or submit any personal information to us. Playground Raters does not knowingly collect personal information from any person who is under the age of 13. If it comes to our attention that we have collected personal data from a person under the age of 13, we will delete this information as quickly as possible. If you have reason to believe that this has occurred, please contact us via the Contact Us page, and we will delete any such information. We recommend that children between the ages of 13 and 17 should ask their parents or legal guardians for permission before registering with our service.
We understand that many juvenile team organisers may wish to use Playground Raters services to manage their teams. Team Managers/Organisers should ensure that team member contact details for juvenile teams are in line with the child protection guidelines laid down by the governing body for their sport in their national jurisdiction (in most cases that means that only parent/guardian contact details should be used for conveying information to the juvenile).
